Steven was appointed to his current role in 2002 following the acquisition of the Master Menders group. Steven is a qualified builder in both residential and commercial construction as well as holding qualifications in waterproofing. He has significant experience in land and property development having undertaken a number of sizeable projects. Steven has worked extensively in the insurance industry providing assessment and building reports associated with defect and construction analysis. He has small business management expertise having guided Master Menders through a number of business cycles.

Peter is currently a director of Master Menders and is a qualified carpenter by trade. He has previously worked for AV Jennings as a project manager and was also an assessor with Royal & SunAlliance Insurance Company specialising in property and building damage. Peter has worked with Steven Peluso on a number of property and land developments and likewise has specialised in the insurance rectification industry.

David Cowan
Construction Co-ordinator
David can boast 25 years in the building industry working predominately as a carpenter, then more recently as Construction Co-ordinator for Master Menders. He has travelled extensively overseas throughout his life which has given him an ongoing passion for architecture and building. On returning to Australia David worked in Sydney for seven years, specialising in Victorian terrace homes. In this time he had numerous works published in Bell magazine and House and Garden for Victorian terrace bathroom renovations and period extension work. He also won a Heritage Award for carpentry carried out on a period home in Rose Bay, Sydney.
David has extensive qualifications including First Aid, Occupational Health and Safety, explosive power tool operation, waterproofing and business management. Within the trade David has a reputation as a larrikin and a fine carpenter.

Remo Sgro
Project Manager
Remo has been designing, building and managing projects for over 12 years. He joined Master Menders in 2005 after extensive experience as an Architectual Draftsperson, Senior Designer and team leader, building supervisor, Director - Architectual Design Practice, and Region Design Manager.
As a registered building practitioner, Remo enjoys an active role as Technical and Design Manager and prides himself on getting the job done with high attention to detail. His level of accomplishments throughout the building industry have nurtured his commitment to providing excellence over all aspects of the Master Menders Group.
Remo has a Diploma in Architectual Drafting and is a member of HIA.

Norm Floriddia
Company Supervisor
Nunzio (Norm) Floriddia has been with Master Menders for 11 years and in that time has grown with the company to become a valued member of their management team. Norm has gone from hands on work as a Trades Assistant, to becoming a supervisor of a small team which looks after the maintenance of the MICM buildings.

Rod Atcliffe
Contractor Operations
Rod has been assisting us with our internal work flow system to ensure that we can deliver an efficient service to our clients. He is also providing assistance on other office procedures from time to time as required.
Rod was the former CEO and Claims Manager of the Housing Guarantee Fund. He is a Registered Builder with wide experience in domestic building, having been Operations Manager of a small Domestic Building Company and Manager of a company specialising in design and renovations in the Toorak,
South Yarra
and Armadale areas. Rod also has varied experience in other areas, namely Mediations at VCAT, Lecturing to student teachers and builders and as Chairman of Administration with the Catholic Education Office in
Melbourne
.
Rod started out as an Apprentice Carpenter and Joiner and in his final year constructed a desk for the former Premier of Melbourne Mr Lindsay Thompson. He then undertook some studies in Accounting before taking up the position of Capital Expenditure Controller with the car manufacturer Volkswagen

Rod has supervised the building of over 120 houses, numerous Extensions and Renovations and conducted or participated in hundreds of Mediations.

Anthony Martin
Building Consultant
Anthony joined Master Menders in 2005 as a Skilled Labourer following a diverse career path including positions as a food processor and trainer, an arborist's labourer and a tree-lopper and stump removalist.
Anthony has achieved Certificate 4 in Information Techology; an Advanced Diploma of Business Systems, Information Technology; a Certificate in food processing and handling and a Certificate in Chemicals Handling.

Aymen Darwish
Construction Co-ordinator
Aymen has been with Master Menders since 2004 when he joined the company as a carpenter, following extensive experience in the building industry as a labourer, a head builder and a site manager. He also has experience as a Project Officer/Techincal Advisor for the Australia Building Codes Board and an Installation and Maintenance Technician for Optus.
Aymen has completed 1 year full time Advanced Building Surveying at Holmesglen TAFE and a carpentry apprenticeship at Outer Eastern College of TAFE (Swinburne). He is a member of the Australian Institute of Building Surveyors.

Elizabeth Woods
Administration Manager
Elizabeth joined Master Menders in 2003, after developing a successful career in bookkeeping and administration, starting as a junior bookkeeper in 1983 and working her way up to Payroll Officer and then Administration Manager. Elizabeth's skills have enabled her to volunteer as Treasurer for the Box Hill North Football Club

Joanne Liapis
O H & S Co-ordinator
Before joining Master Menders in 2005 as O H & S co-ordinator, Joanne worked as an Initial Claims Officer, then advanced to Claims Officer, liaising with owners and builders to complete building works. Joanne's experience in helping people has extended to the education sector, working as a Kindergarten Assistant. She has completed several courses including a HIA O H & S course, First Aid Level 2 course and a number of courses for Integration Aid to assist special needs children.

Karen Simpson
Bookkeeper
Karen has extensive bookkeeping experience in varying industries from retail, banking and travel and tourism sectors. She joined Master Menders in 1996 and has formal training in bookkeeping, Accounting with MYOB and Microsoft Office. Karen is a St Vincent's Health Volunteer and belongs to the HIA Members Network.
